Welcomed by Jesus

Finding a new church isn't easy. It can feel like walking into a stranger's family reunion. That's why we've worked hard to build a culture of hospitality at Grace & Peace Church — but we want to be specific about what that means, because it's different from just being a nice church with good manners.

We want you to feel known. Not just greeted — known. That's a bigger goal, and it's not one we invented. It's rooted in the gospel: Jesus welcomed us fully, personally, at great cost to himself. So now we get to welcome others the same way.

Changed By Grace

Sometimes life isn’t working the way we want it to. We all have areas of life that cause us real stress and heartache: a relationship with a loved one that isn’t what you want it to be, a bank account that never quite stretches far enough, a job that drains more than it gives.

The grace of God is the power to become who we were made to be and it doesn't ignore these areas. It transforms them — turning heartache into hope, and what feels like scarcity into contentment and joy.

Bringing Peace to our City

When we think of "peace," we often picture the absence of conflict. Biblically, peace means more, not less. The Hebrew word is shalom — wholeness, fullness, the flourishing that comes from being in right relationship with God.

The church is called to bring peace to our city by bringing justice where there is injustice, safety where there is abuse, connection where there is isolation, generosity where there is greed, resurrection where there is death.

Our Team

Heath Zuniga

PASTOR

Heath is Mexican-American and was born and raised in the United States. He came to understand the beauty of the gospel in college where he met his future spouse, Emily. Together they have three children, Hudson, Lewis and Selena.

He has over a decade of ministry experience and has worked in various pastoral roles in Seattle, WA, and St. Louis, MO. He graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Most recently, he worked for five years as an Assistant Pastor at a PCA church in Columbus, OH, where helped plant and establish the church. It was during this time in Columbus that his family began to see a need for starting a church in a majority Hispanic zip-code.

Paula was born and raised in Bogota – Colombia and moved to the States when she was 20 years old.  Paula came to faith in Jesus in her early 20's and she is married to her husband Jonathan. Together they have three children Seth, Liam, and Luca. She enjoys learning about Jesus’ life and deeply longs to be a vessel for children to learn, believe, grow, understand, and enjoy the Gospel and its application to their current lives. Paula holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and loves using her gifts and knowledge to advance the work in God’s kingdom with the youngest disciples in and out of the church.  Some of her favorite things are listening to audiobooks, cooking, time in nature, hosting gatherings at home, and spending time with her family in the backyard. 

DIRECTOR OF MINISTRY

Paula Adams

Dayron was born and raised in Cuba and moved to the United States in 2013. He became a Christian in 2002, and music and worship have played an important role in his life and ministry ever since. He brings many years of experience to worship ministry, having served as a worship director in Cuba for seven years and then in Kentucky for eight years. Throughout that time, he has been passionate about using music to serve the church, encourage others, and lead people in worship. He holds a degree in Music and has dedicated much of his life to music, teaching, and ministry. Dayron is married to Liliana Gallardo, and together they are raising two daughters. He is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving God and the church through music and worship. His journey from Cuba to Kentucky reflects a lifelong commitment to worship as both craft and calling.

Our Officers

Grace & Peace Church is currently in the church-planting phase. Until we have our own local elders and deacons, we operate under a provisional session of elders, providing pastoral oversight and accountability alongside Pastor Heath.

This provisional session is drawn from the oversight of Covenant Church of Palm Bay, and will remain in place until God raises up qualified candidates from within our own body for the offices of elder and deacon.

Our Beliefs

Grace & Peace Church invites you to invites you to explore our beliefs.

  • We believe in one living and true God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, equal in power and glory, and shares the same divine essence. While distinct in role, they are perfectly united as one God. This doctrine of the Trinity reveals the mystery and beauty of God’s nature as taught in Scripture.

  • We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired and infallible Word of God, fully authoritative in all matters of faith and life. They are the complete revelation of God’s will for salvation and the ultimate standard by which all teachings and actions are measured. The Bible, preserved by God’s providence, is sufficient and clear, revealing all that is necessary for knowing, loving, and glorifying Him.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. He who is true God became true man united in one Person forever. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. On the third day He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of God the Father, He now is our High Priest and Mediator. We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.

  • We believe that being estranged from God and condemned by our sinfulness, our salvation is wholly dependent upon the work of God’s free grace. God credits His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justifies them in His sight. Only those that are born of the Holy Spirit and receive Jesus Christ become children of God and heirs of eternal life.

  • Item descriptionWe believe that baptism is a sacrament instituted by Jesus Christ, signifying union with Him, the washing away of sin, and entrance into the covenant community of the church. It is a sign and seal of God’s promises to His people, symbolizing His grace and our identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism is administered with water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and it is to be applied to believers and their children as a mark of God’s covenant faithfulness. While baptism does not save, it points to the reality of salvation by grace through faith in Christ.

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit has come to glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts. He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior. Indwelling our hearts, He gives new life to us. The Holy Spirit desires to fill each believer with power to witness and imparts spiritual gifts for the edification of the Body and the work of ministry in the world. He instructs and guides us into all truth, and seals us for the day of redemption.

  • We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit are united together in the body of Christ. The Church finds her visible, yet imperfect, expression in local congregations where the Word of God is preached in its purity and the sacraments are administered in their integrity; where scriptural discipline is practiced, and where loving fellowship is maintained.

Grace & Peace Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). A denomination committed to the historic Christian faith, to the starting of new churches in North America and to the spreading of the gospel across the world. A more detailed statement of our doctrinal standards can be found in the Westminster Confession of Faith (WCF).
